We have been waiting over 8 months to hear these words uttered and now we can finally rejoice in the fact that we are NOT homeowners! Michael and I closed on our Bellingham home last Thursday and we got the phone call while in Iowa. After a few ups and many downs with this process we are grateful God has provided for us with this situation and we give Him all the credit for everything finally falling into place.

Speaking of Iowa, we had a wonderful trip! Michael was on cloud 9 after selling the house, which translated into him winning every single card game we played over the 3 days in Des Moines. After arriving off a Wednesday night red eye flight we headed out for breakfast at Cracker Barrel and proceeded to be out on the town with Michael's grandparents for the next 3 days. It was so great to meet them and other family and they definitely treated us like royals! We experienced much laughter, many card games, The Market (an Iowa equivalent of a Metropolitan Market), Maid Rite, and even Iowa seafood (who knew it'd be good!). We were grateful for the time with family and we'll leave you with a few pictures from the weekend...
